Design
Currently booking for 2027
We are not taking on active design installations at this time, but we are accepting inquiries and reserving projects for the 2027 season.
Our Approach
We design landscapes that are every bit as beautiful as they are resilient, low-maintenance, and rooted in ecology. We believe context and a strong sense of place are essential to good design. A garden should feel as though it has always existed there, with each plant in conversation with the next, and walking through it should feel like a well-written story.
Our objective with our designs is restore lost habitat for wildlife, supporting the local food webs that depend on native plants, while at the same time creating more functional, intentional and valued spaces for the people that occupy them. Oversized and under-used lawns are a thing of the past and a well designed, sustainable garden requires much less resources (and time!) to maintain than endlessly mowing grass for no return. Rather than a space defined by upkeep, a landscape in connection to nature becomes something to engage with, spaces to observe, learn and slow down. As our lives become increasingly removed from the natural world, the need for meaningful spaces that call us back into it has never been greater. Even small spaces are an opportunity to be a part of something bigger.Â
Native plants form the foundation of our work, with space for edible plants like vegetables and culinary herbs, integrated into many of our designs.Â
Every space is shaped by what you value and how you want to live within it.
